Haunted Hummus: An Easy Halloween Party Snack

Haunted Hummus

If you’re looking for an easy Halloween party food that’s festive without requiring a ton of work, this Haunted Hummus is such a fun one!

My kids already love hummus with mini naan dippers as an after-school snack and in their lunchboxes, so I just gave one of their favorite snacks a spooky Halloween upgrade. A few little spooky faces turn basic naan into the cutest Halloween dippers—and all you really need is a mini cookie cutter set.

It’s easy, kid-friendly, and perfect for a Halloween party, after-school snack, or spooky movie night.

Haunted Hummus & Ghost Naan Dippers

The best part about this Halloween snack is that you can keep it incredibly simple. I used store-bought roasted red pepper hummus, but you could use whatever hummus or dip your family loves.

The roasted red pepper hummus gives it a great orange color for Halloween. Then I arranged all of the ghost naan around the dip to make an easy Halloween party platter.

What You’ll Need

How to Make Ghost Naan Dippers

Start with your mini naan dippers. Using small cookie cutters, cut two little eyes and a mouth into each piece of naan. I actually like when the faces are slightly different from one another—it makes the ghosts even cuter.

Arrange the naan dippers around a bowl of hummus or your dip of choice with the ghost faces showing.

That’s it! No complicated Halloween recipe and no special ingredients. It’s really just a snack your kids will love, all dressed up for Halloween.

Switch Up the Dip

You definitely don’t have to use roasted red pepper hummus. The ghost naan dippers would work with just about any favorite dip. Try classic hummus, pumpkin hummus, whipped feta, spinach dip, ranch dip, guacamole, or even a sweet dessert dip.

For a Halloween party, you could even make a few different dips and surround each one with the little ghost naan.

An Easy Halloween Party Food for Kids

I love Halloween food that looks impressive on the table but is secretly really easy to make. This is exactly that.

You can make a whole platter in just a few minutes, and because it starts with familiar foods, it’s also a great option for a kids’ Halloween party where you want something besides candy and desserts!
